Austin Unreal Engine Meetup will return to Mister Tramps from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Thursday, August 14. RSVP on the official site, and fill out the survey to give feedback about the event programming. Technical artist Jimmy Lane will talk about procedural content generation (PCG).

Iteration acceleration and empowerment through Procedural Content Generation (PCG)
Developer Jimmy Lane will walk through examples of how Procedural Content Generation (PCG) can be incorporated into your pipeline – introductory examples – and a brief dive in the deep end.
Jimmy will show separate samples and a live demo putting them all together – Level design prototyping, set-dressing polish, and a quick look at a more complicated setup and how it can be leveraged and modified.
About Jimmy Lane: Jimmy is a Senior Technical Artist specializing in environment creation. He has a passion for proceduralism and non-destructive workflows. Eight years into his career, he is still learning something new every day.
