Texas Game Jam 2026

EGaDS!, the student game-dev club at UT-Austin, is having its own annual game jam starting with a kickoff at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, with the jam running through the weekend until Sunday, Sept. 27, as a hybrid event on campus and on Discord. Sign up on the official form and join the Discord channel to participate. Non-jamming industry participants are encouraged to sign up on their own form.

• Weekend jamming.. Friday to Sunday!
• Join IN-PERSON (highly recommended) at the Gates Dell Complex or remote via the TXGJ Discord.
• You don’t need prior experience with game development to join, and the max team size is 6 people!
• Judging will last a week after the jam ends. Jam theme will be revealed at kickoff!
• Food! Industry people! Mentors! Merchandising! More stuff!! What more could you want!?
• The jam discord will be the main form of communication, so please join the server first 🙂
