Austin Unity Users Group: Let’s Juice Up Your Game | Feedback Night
Austin Unity Users Group (formerly Developers Meetup) will gather from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 at Unity’s Austin offices, on the 6th floor of 405 Comal Street, just south of the Plaza Saltillo CapMetro rail station. Sign up here. Featured speaker will be Alex Huang, software engineer at Unity.
Come learn about the importance of adding game juice to your games with Alex Huang, Software Engineer at Unity. We’ll go over the general concepts of game juice as well as practical and approachable ways to add it to your game.
What’s Game Juice? Game juice is a term used in video game design to describe the process of adding layers of feedback, effects, and interactivity to improve the player’s experience.
We strongly encourage attendees to bring in their Unity projects to workshop and receive feedback from Alex/peers during this event. Compared to some of our previous events, this talk will be more akin to a workshop. After his talk, Alex will be available for direct feedback.
We encourage our community to bring any playable demos of their game to this event. Feel free to share and get feedback on your projects before and after the speaker portion of the Meet-up.
RSVPs for this event are required to ensure building security and that we order enough food for all participants
