EGaDS! GDC^2 2026

EGaDS, the student game-development club at UT-Austin, will have a two-day conference on campus from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 8. RSVP here. Artist Alley and Indie Game Showcase signups are available.

EGaDS!’s next biggest event, GDC^2, is coming up soon! GDC^2 is a spring annual game developer conference run by the Electronic Game Developers Society that aims to bring together indie developers, studios and companies, and industry professionals at the UT Austin campus, specifically, at the Gates Dell Complex.

• Indie Game Showcase – Playtest incredible games from the community, and if you’re a developer, show off your work and consider enter judging for a chance at a prize!
• Industry Talks & Panels – Learn from professionals about game development, career advice, and the latest trends in the industry.
• Networking & Recruiting – Meet fellow game developers, connect with industry pros, and explore job opportunities.
• Free Food! – Enjoy free meals throughout the day while hanging out with fellow attendees.
• Gaming After Party – Finish off this amazing event with a night of gaming at the Longhorn e-sports Lounge!
