We are excited to announce our annual GDC^2 event to you all! GDC^2 is an event held by the University of Texas’ Electronic Game Developers Society (EGaDS!) that aims to bring the Game Developers Conference to the game developers in Austin! This year, it is an official South by Southwest (SXSW) event! Here is what you can expect from GDC^2 this year:
- Indie Game Showcase – Playtest incredible games from the community, and if you’re a developer, show off your work and consider enter judging for a chance at a prize!
- Industry Talks & Panels – Learn from professionals about game development, career advice, and the latest trends in the industry.
- etworking & Recruiting – Meet fellow game developers, connect with industry pros, and explore job opportunities.
- Free Food! – Enjoy free meals throughout the day while hanging out with fellow attendees.
- Gaming After Party – Finish off this amazing event with a night of gaming at the Longhorn e-sports Lounge!
This is an incredible opportunity to gain insight into game development, meet like-minded creators, and have a blast while doing it!
