IGDA-Austin presents: Perspectives Across the Austin Dev Scene
IGDA-Austin will have a panel discussion from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at the University Hills Branch of the Austin Public Library. RSVP here for details.
The panel will feature Melody Geiger of Merge Conflict Studios, Ashley Ruhl of Broadsword Online Games and Virginia Leo of Team Terrible; respectively co-founder of an independent game developer, narrative director of Star Wars: The Old Republic, and an audio designer and composer.
Join us at the Austin Public Library’s University Hills Branch on Saturday, October 19th, for a panel on gauging the state of Austin’s Game Dev scene. Whether you’re getting your foot in the door at a studio, working on an indie venture or focusing on building up experience, Ashley Ruhl, Virginia Leo and Melody Geiger will tap into their experience to compare and contrast their backgrounds, observations and visions for thriving in Austin’s dev scene. Toward the end of the main discussion, we welcome you to engage in a post-talk roundtable to ask questions and expand on the talk!
