SUMMARY: Working with open-source software in a commercial setting can be confusing and complicated. Ask a lawyer whether or not a license can be used and they’re likely to say, “It depends,” but open-source software is frequently seen in commercial settings. Come learn practical advice about using open-source software in a commercial product from an engineering and business standpoint.
