Hello ATX Game Makers! I am the Esports and Event Coordinator at Valhalla Esports Lounge, and I am here to present you all with a regular opportunity to showcase your games and get some direct public feedback.
We recently started hosting a monthly market-style event at Valhalla. For this event, we invite a handful of vendors and game developers to come out and connect with the downtown Austin community. Each event can accommodate up to 5 vendor booths and up to 4 game developer booths.
Booth space for game developers includes a TV and I can try my best to accommodate any other requests, such as specific cables, controllers to use, etc. There is a small fee associated with reserving booth space, which goes toward advertising, additional customer engagement opportunities, and more to increase turnout and bring value to our featured guests.
Additionally, I am seeking to host a dedicated Indie Game Day during SXSW, which would be very similar to the February 2020 Game Makers showcase that was also hosted here at Valhalla Esports Lounge (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kB-_ChQB5Vc&t=20s). For this event, I’m looking for as many interested game developers as possible – we can support up to 17 games for this event.
